STMicroelectronics recommends a 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a thermal pad connected to a large copper area on the bottom layer to dissipate heat efficiently.
Use a dedicated SPI bus with a clock frequency of up to 10 MHz, and ensure proper signal termination and shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Apply power to the device in the following sequence: VCC, then VBAT, and finally enable the device by setting the EN pin high.
Use the EN pin to disable the device, and ensure that all inputs are in a stable state before entering power-down mode to prevent unwanted current consumption.
Handle the device in an ESD-protected environment, use ESD-protected tools, and ensure that the device is properly grounded during handling and assembly.
