The maximum operating temperature range for VIPER16LDTR is -40°C to 150°C.
To ensure proper biasing, connect the VCC pin to a stable voltage source, and decouple it with a 10nF capacitor to GND. Also, ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (8.5V to 38V).
For minimal EMI and noise, use a multi-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, keep the input and output traces short and separate, and use a shielded inductor. Also, place the input and output capacitors close to the VIPER16LDTR.
Choose an inductor with a value between 10uH to 100uH, depending on the output voltage and current requirements. A higher inductance value reduces the ripple current but increases the size and cost.
The maximum output current capability of VIPER16LDTR is 1.5A, but it can be limited by the external components and the thermal design of the PCB.
