The TLC59108FIPWR has a maximum current rating of 30mA per output channel, with a total device current rating of 120mA.
To ensure proper operation, connect VCC to a 3.3V or 5V power supply, and GND to ground. Also, make sure to configure the device using the I2C interface, following the protocol outlined in the datasheet.
The REXT resistor sets the current limit for each output channel. Choose a value between 1kΩ and 10kΩ, depending on the desired current limit and output voltage. A smaller REXT value results in a higher current limit.
To prevent overheating, ensure good airflow around the device, and consider using a heat sink if the device will be operating at high currents or in high-temperature environments.
The EN (enable) pin is an active-low input that enables or disables the device. Tie EN to GND to enable the device, or to VCC to disable it. Use EN to turn the device on or off, or to implement a shutdown function.
