The recommended operating voltage range for TLC3704CDR is 4.5V to 16V.
To ensure proper biasing, connect the VCC pin to a stable voltage source, and decouple it with a 0.1uF capacitor to ground. Also, connect the VREF pin to a stable voltage reference or to VCC/2 for optimal performance.
The TLC3704CDR can sink or source up to 20mA of output current per channel.
To protect the TLC3704CDR from overvoltage conditions, use a voltage clamp or a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode to limit the voltage at the input pins to within the recommended operating range.
To minimize noise and ensure optimal performance, use a star-ground topology, keep analog and digital traces separate, and use a ground plane to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
