STMicroelectronics provides a recommended PCB layout in the application note AN5046, which includes guidelines for thermal vias, copper pours, and component placement to ensure optimal thermal performance.
The input capacitor selection depends on the input voltage, ripple current, and ESR requirements. STMicroelectronics recommends using a capacitor with a minimum capacitance of 10uF, a voltage rating of 50V or higher, and an ESR of less than 100mΩ. Refer to the application note AN5046 for more details.
The maximum allowed voltage drop across the sense resistors is 100mV. Exceeding this value may affect the accuracy of the current sensing and overcurrent protection.
The T410-600D has a built-in OVP feature that can be enabled by connecting the OVP pin to a voltage divider network. The OVP threshold can be set by selecting the appropriate resistor values. Refer to the datasheet and application note AN5046 for more details.
The recommended operating temperature range for the T410-600D is -40°C to 150°C. However, the device can operate up to 175°C for short periods during fault conditions.
