A thermal pad is recommended under the package to improve heat dissipation. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness and a thermal relief pattern on the PCB are also recommended.
Ensure proper heat sinking, avoid overheating during soldering, and follow the recommended operating temperature range (TJ = -40°C to 150°C).
The maximum allowed voltage on the input pins is VCC + 0.5V, but it's recommended to keep it within VCC + 0.3V to ensure reliable operation.
Use ESD-safe handling and assembly procedures, and consider adding external ESD protection devices if necessary. The SR206 has internal ESD protection, but it's not sufficient for all applications.
Power up VCC before applying any input signals, and ensure that VCC is stable before applying clock signals.
