ABLIC recommends a thermal pad on the bottom of the package, connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat efficiently. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness is recommended.
To ensure stable output voltage during startup, ABLIC recommends adding a 1uF ceramic capacitor between the VIN pin and GND, and a 10uF ceramic capacitor between the VOUT pin and GND.
The maximum allowed input voltage ripple is 100mVp-p. Exceeding this value may affect the regulator's stability and output voltage accuracy.
The S-89130BC-K8T2U is rated for operation up to 125°C. However, ABLIC recommends derating the output current by 50% when operating above 85°C to ensure reliable operation.
