The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LTC1609CG is 5.5V, exceeding which may cause damage to the device.
To ensure the LTC1609CG is in a low-power state, the SHDN pin should be pulled low. This will reduce the quiescent current to less than 10μA.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to follow a star-ground layout, with the analog and digital grounds separated and connected at a single point. Additionally, keep the input and output traces short and away from noise sources.
To filter out noise and ripple, a low-pass filter can be added to the output of the LTC1609CG. A capacitor in the range of 1-10μF can be used in conjunction with a series resistor to filter out high-frequency noise.
The thermal resistance of the LTC1609CG package is 45°C/W (junction-to-ambient) and 10°C/W (junction-to-case).
