A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital grounds separate and connect them at a single point. Use a low-ESR capacitor for the VCC pin and a 10uF capacitor for the AVCC pin.
Ensure the power-up sequence is VCC, then AVCC, then digital inputs. The device is fully operational after a 10ms power-up time. Initialize the device by writing to the control registers in the correct sequence, as specified in the datasheet.
A high-quality, low-jitter clock source is recommended, such as a crystal oscillator or a high-frequency clock generator. The clock source should be connected to the XTAL1 pin, and the XTAL2 pin should be left unconnected.
Use a shielded enclosure, keep analog and digital signals separate, and use a ground plane to reduce noise. Avoid running digital signals near analog signals, and use a common-mode filter or a ferrite bead to reduce EMI.
The maximum operating temperature range for the LMX2433SLEX/NOPB is -40°C to 85°C. However, the device may not meet all specifications at the extreme temperatures, so ensure to check the datasheet for specific temperature-related limitations.
