A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. The device should be placed near a thermal pad or a heat sink to dissipate heat efficiently.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and ensure the output capacitor's ESR is less than 1 ohm. Additionally, use a feedback resistor with a value between 1kΩ to 10kΩ to prevent oscillations.
The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LMR10530XSD/NOPB is 42V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage to the device.
The output voltage ripple and noise can be calculated using the formula: ΔVout = (Iout x Rl) / (f x Cout), where Iout is the output current, Rl is the load resistance, f is the switching frequency, and Cout is the output capacitance.
A 10uF to 22uF ceramic or electrolytic capacitor with a voltage rating of 50V or higher is recommended for the input capacitor. The capacitor should be placed as close to the device as possible to minimize noise and ripple.
