The KF33BD-TR is a very low drop regulator available in SO-8 package and in a wide range of output voltages. The very low drop voltage (0.4 V) and the very low quiescent current make them particularly suitable for low noise, low power applications and specially in battery powered systems. A shutdown logic control function is available (pin 5, TTL compatible). This means that when the device is used as a local regulator, it is possible to
put a part of the board in standby, decreasing the total power consumption. It requires only a 2.2 µF capacitor for stability allowing space and cost
saving.
The recommended operating voltage range for the KF33BD-TR is 1.65 V to 3.6 V.
The KF33BD-TR has an internal POR and BOR circuitry. The POR is triggered when the voltage supply rises above 1.5 V, and the BOR is triggered when the voltage supply falls below 1.4 V. No external components are required for POR and BOR.
The KF33BD-TR supports a maximum clock frequency of 32 MHz.
The GPIO pins on the KF33BD-TR can be configured as input or output using the GPIOx_MODER register. The GPIO pins can also be configured as analog or digital using the GPIOx_OTYPER register.
The internal voltage regulator (IVR) in the KF33BD-TR provides a stable internal voltage supply to the core and peripherals, allowing the device to operate from a single external voltage supply.
