A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Ensure a minimum of 1 oz copper thickness and a thermal relief pattern under the device.
Ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (1.5V to 5.5V). Use a stable voltage regulator and decouple the input with a 1uF ceramic capacitor. Also, ensure the output is properly terminated with a 10kΩ resistor to GND.
Use a TVS diode (e.g., SMF05C) with a 1kΩ resistor in series to protect the input from ESD events. Ensure the TVS diode is rated for the maximum input voltage.
Use the EN pin to disable the device when not in use. In shutdown mode, the device consumes less than 1uA. Also, consider using a low-power voltage regulator and optimizing the system's power management strategy.
The recommended operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. However, the device can operate up to 150°C with reduced performance and reliability.
