A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Ensure that the thermal pad is connected to a large copper area to dissipate heat efficiently.
Use a combination of ceramic and electrolytic capacitors with a total capacitance of at least 10uF, placed as close to the device as possible. Ensure that the capacitors are rated for the maximum operating voltage.
The clock signal should have a jitter of less than 100ps and a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of at least 40dB. A clock signal with a rise time of 1ns or faster is recommended.
Use a shielded cable, and ensure that the USB signal lines are routed away from noise sources. Implement a common-mode filter or a ferrite bead to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The device is rated for operation from -40°C to 85°C. However, the device's performance and reliability may degrade at temperatures above 70°C. Ensure proper thermal management to maintain optimal performance.
