Aimtec recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the device is also recommended.
Aimtec recommends using a soldering iron with a temperature of 250°C to 270°C, and a solder with a melting point of 180°C to 200°C. A soldering time of 3-5 seconds is recommended.
Aimtec recommends that the input voltage deviation should not exceed ±10% of the nominal input voltage to ensure reliable operation.
Aimtec recommends using external overcurrent and overvoltage protection devices, such as fuses and TVS diodes, to protect the device from damage.
Aimtec recommends using a low-ESR ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF, and a voltage rating of 25V or higher, as close to the device as possible.
