A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital signals separate, and use a common mode filter to reduce noise.
Use a low-jitter clock source, and ensure the clock signal is properly terminated. A clock frequency of 1.2 GHz or higher is recommended for optimal performance.
Power up the analog supply (AVDD) first, followed by the digital supply (DVDD), and then the clock input. Ensure all supplies are stable before applying the clock signal.
Use a heat sink or thermal pad to dissipate heat. Ensure good airflow around the device, and avoid blocking the thermal pads on the package.
Use a low-pass filter or a band-pass filter to condition the input signal, and ensure the signal is within the recommended amplitude range (typically 1 Vpp).
