The termination resistor is screwed onto an unused antenna connection of a WLAN device - e.g. - in leaky wave applications. This terminates the connection with the correct impedance and prevents undesirable emission.
A termination resistor must be screwed on at the end of the leaky wave conductor which does not contain any wireless part. It guarantees an antenna cable termination with the correct impedance and is important for every wireless installation.
